Answer
Via the Content Engine you upload video or audio files that are automatically transcribed and converted into blog posts, podcast episodes, social media posts and email content.
Steps
- Go to Content Engine > Upload and click "New upload".
- Choose your source: upload a video or audio file, or paste a YouTube/Vimeo URL.
- Select which output you want to generate: blog, podcast, social media, email.
- Optional: enable "Enrich knowledge base" to automatically add insights from your content.
- Optional: enable the AI-SEO toggles for LLM discoverability (citations and statistics).
- Click "Process". The transcription and content generation start in the background.
- You can continue using the dashboard normally. Results appear automatically when they are ready.
Source enhancement options
If source enhancement is enabled for your account, you will see extra options to improve the quality of your video or audio before processing:
- Audio improve: cleans up the audio track for clearer transcription and better output quality.
- Face centering: automatically keeps the speaker centered in the frame, useful for interview-style recordings.
- Horizon correction: straightens tilted footage so the final video looks polished.
These options are great for recordings made on the go or in less controlled environments.
Visibility: public or private
Each upload has a visibility toggle. Setting an upload to private means the video does not appear publicly on your site, but all content (blog posts, social media copy, email, etc.) is still generated normally. This is useful when you want to produce written content from a recording without publishing the video itself.
Silence removal
Enable silence removal to automatically strip long pauses from your audio or video before processing. This keeps your content tight and makes transcription more accurate, especially for recordings with a lot of dead air.
Teaser generation options
When you enable podcast output, you can also generate a teaser. Two sub-options let you control how the teaser is used:
- Podcast teaser: generates a short promotional clip or excerpt from your episode.
- Prepend teaser: places the teaser at the beginning of the podcast episode automatically, so listeners hear it first.
You can enable one or both depending on how you want to structure your episode.
Tips
- Video files up to 4.5GB are uploaded in parts automatically for optimal reliability. Larger files are handled the same way, seamlessly in the background.
- WAV files are automatically converted to MP3 for faster upload.
- Use presets via Content Engine > Upload to save your favorite output settings.
- For video uploads you can also have short video clips generated for social media.
