Carousel Reels automatically convert your LinkedIn carousel posts into short vertical videos, ready for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. Each slide becomes an animated scene with kinetic typography, an AI voice-over, and background music. No editing software, no waiting around.
How It Works
When you generate a reel, the platform takes every slide from your carousel and turns it into a polished 9:16 video. Here is what gets added automatically:
- Kinetic typography: Your slide headlines and body text animate on screen
- AI voice-over: An ElevenLabs voice reads your content aloud
- Background music: A music track is mixed in to keep viewers engaged
Rendering happens on the server, so you can close the page and come back later. No need to keep a tab open.
Generating a Reel
- Go to the Social page in your dashboard.
- Find a carousel post in your list.
- Click the Reel button (the film icon) on that post.
- The reel will start generating. A status indicator shows you it is in progress.
- Once ready, the video appears with options to download it or publish it directly.
After Your Reel Is Ready
You have two options once the video is generated:
- Download: Save the MP4 file to your device and upload it manually to any platform.
- Publish directly: Post it straight from your dashboard without leaving the page.
Tips
- Carousel posts with short, punchy slide headlines tend to produce the most engaging reels. Kinetic typography shines when there is not too much text per slide.
- The 9:16 format is optimized for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts, so one video covers all three platforms in one go.
- If a reel fails to generate, simply try again. The status indicator will flag any issues so you know exactly where things stand.
