Source Enhancement cleans up and optimizes your original video or audio file before the platform starts generating content from it. The result is higher quality output across all your blogs, social posts, emails, and clips. Your original file is always kept safe, and the enhanced version is saved separately.
Note: These options are only visible when your administrator has enabled them for your account.
What enhancement options are available?
When you upload a video or audio file, you may see up to three enhancement toggles:
1. Audio Enhancement This removes background noise and normalizes the volume level. Great for recordings made in less-than-perfect conditions, like a home office or a busy event venue. Your audio will sound clean and consistent throughout.
2. Face Centering This automatically crops the video frame so your face stays centered at all times. This option is especially useful when you generate video clips, since it keeps the focus on you regardless of how you were positioned during recording.
3. Horizon Correction If your camera was slightly tilted during recording, this option automatically straightens the image. No more subtly crooked footage.
How to use Source Enhancement
- Go to the upload page and select your video or audio file.
- If enhancement options are available on your account, you will see them listed below the file selector.
- Toggle on the options you want to apply.
- Complete the rest of your upload settings as usual.
- Start the upload. The platform will apply your chosen enhancements before generating any content.
The enhanced file is stored separately so you can always access your original if needed. Videos are automatically limited to 1080p to keep file sizes manageable without sacrificing quality.
Tips
- Use Audio Enhancement for any recording where background noise is a concern, even small improvements here make a noticeable difference in podcast and video clip output.
- Turn on Face Centering whenever you plan to generate short video clips, it gives your clips a polished, professional look without any manual editing.
- You can combine all three options at once for the best possible result.
