You do not need a longer source video to create clips. With Direct Clip Upload you can take any ready-made video file and publish it as a clip straight away. The platform handles transcription, subtitles, and formatting automatically.
How to upload a clip directly
- Go to the Video Clips page in your dashboard.
- Click the Upload clip button at the top of the page.
- Select your video file from your device.
- Give the clip a clear title.
- Choose the source language of the spoken audio in the video.
- Click Upload to start the process.
That is all. The platform will automatically transcribe the audio, add subtitles, and render the clip in the 9:16 vertical format ready for social media.
What happens after you upload
Once the upload is complete, your clip appears on the Video Clips page with a blue Direct upload badge so you can easily tell it apart from clips generated from longer source videos.
From there you can do everything you would normally do with any clip: edit the title, review the transcript, copy captions for Instagram, TikTok, or LinkedIn, and publish or schedule the clip.
