Create a thank-you page for external booking forms and sign-up tools

Answer

If you use an external booking system, workshop sign-up form, or studio management tool, you can now send clients to your own branded thank-you page after they submit a form. A ready-made thank-you page template is available when creating a new page, so you can set this up in just a few steps.

Create your thank-you page

  1. Go to Dashboard > My Website > Pages.
  2. Click New page.
  3. You will see two template options: Blank page and Thank-you page. Choose Thank-you page.
  4. A title and URL slug (for example, thank-you) are filled in automatically. Adjust them if you like.
  5. Click Create. The page opens in the editor, already filled with a short thank-you message and a button that leads visitors back to your homepage.
  6. Edit the text and add a photo if you want, just like you would with any other page.
  7. Publish the page when you are happy with it.

The page is automatically kept out of your main navigation menu and marked as not indexable by search engines (noindex), so visitors and Google will not stumble across it by accident.

  1. Go back to Dashboard > My Website > Pages.
  2. Find your published thank-you page in the list.
  3. Click the chain icon next to the page. The full public URL is copied to your clipboard.
  4. Open your external booking or sign-up tool and find the setting for the redirect after form submission. This is often called something like "redirect URL" or "confirmation page URL".
  5. Paste the link there and save the setting.

From now on, clients who submit your external form will land on your own thank-you page instead of a generic confirmation screen from the external tool.

Tips

  • Make it personal. Add your logo, a warm message, or a photo to reinforce your brand right after a booking or sign-up.
  • Add a next step. Replace the default homepage button with a link to your portfolio, a preparation guide, or a calendar invite so clients always know what to do next.
  • One page, multiple tools. You can use the same thank-you page URL in several external tools at once, there is no need to create a separate page for each one.
  • Not seeing the chain icon? Make sure the page is published. Draft pages do not show the copy-link button.
