Managing Authors for Your Blog and Podcast

Last updated March 30, 2026

Answer

The Authors feature lets you create named profiles that appear alongside your blog posts and podcast episodes. Whether you publish solo or with a team, each piece of content can show the right person's name, photo, and bio automatically.

Adding a New Author

  1. Go to Website in your dashboard and open the Authors section.
  2. Click Add Author in the top right corner.
  3. Enter the author's display name and a short bio.
  4. Click Save. The author now appears in your list.

Uploading a Profile Photo

Once an author is saved, their card appears on the overview page. You will see a photo placeholder on the left side of the card.

  1. Click the photo placeholder on the author's card.
  2. Upload an image and crop it to fit.
  3. The photo is saved automatically and will show up on your published content right away.

To remove a photo, click the placeholder again and choose the remove option.

Editing or Deleting an Author

  1. Find the author on the overview page.
  2. Click the three-dot menu on the right side of their card.
  3. Choose Edit to update the name, bio, or photo.
  4. Choose Delete to remove the author entirely. You will be asked to confirm before anything is deleted.

Assigning Authors to Content

Once your author profiles are set up, you can select the right author when creating or editing a blog post or podcast episode. The profile, including the photo and bio, will then be displayed automatically with that content on your website.

Tips

  • Keep bios short and personal. A sentence or two about the author's background or expertise works well for visitors.
  • If you are the only person creating content, you still benefit from setting up an author profile. It adds a personal touch and builds trust with your audience.
  • You can create as many authors as you need, so guest contributors or co-hosts can each have their own profile.
