Answer

The page editor lets you edit text right where it appears on your page. No more hunting through forms or switching to separate windows. Just click any text and start typing.

Opening the page editor

  1. Go to My Website in the left menu.
  2. Click Pages.
  3. Click the row of the page you want to update, such as Home or About me.

Your page opens in the editor, ready to edit.

Editing short texts

Short texts like headings and subtitles are the quickest to update:

  1. Click directly on the heading or subtitle you want to change.
  2. Type your new text.
  3. Click anywhere else on the page to confirm. Your change is saved within the editor.
  4. Click Save at the top of the page to publish the update to your website.

Editing longer texts

For longer content like your personal story or a detailed description, a text box opens right on the spot:

  1. Click on the text block you want to edit.
  2. A text box appears in place, with full formatting options. Bold, italic, bullet lists, and headings are all preserved.
  3. Make your edits inside the text box.
  4. Click outside the text box to close it.
  5. Click Save at the top to publish your changes.

Editing blocks with multiple elements

Many page sections contain several individual elements, such as the steps in your process, your core values, or highlights in a feature block. Each element is editable on its own:

  1. Click directly on the element you want to update and type your changes.
  2. To add, remove, or reorder elements, click the block to open the inspector panel on the right side of the screen.
  3. Use the inspector to manage the individual items within that block.
  4. Click Save when you are happy with the result.

Tips

  • Nothing is final until you click Save, so feel free to experiment with small changes.
  • If you want to undo edits you have not saved yet, simply navigate away from the page without saving.
  • Keep your page fresh by revisiting it regularly. A quick click and a few keystrokes are all it takes to keep your content current.
