Setting Up Languages for Your Website

Last updated April 25, 2026

Answer

With language settings you control which languages your website and content are available in. Your site automatically shows the right language version to each visitor, so you can reach audiences across multiple markets without any extra effort.

How to Set Your Primary Language

  1. Go to Settings and open the Languages page.
  2. Under Primary language, select the language that best matches your main audience: Dutch, English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, or Polish.
  3. Your primary language is always active and cannot be disabled.

How to Add Extra Languages

  1. On the same Languages page, you will see a list of all available languages.
  2. Toggle on any language you want to activate. The toggle turns on and the language card highlights to confirm it is enabled.
  3. Repeat for each additional language you want to offer.
  4. Click Save in the top right corner to apply your changes.

Once saved, your website automatically detects each visitor's preferred language and shows the matching version.

How Content Works Across Languages

This is important to know: content is generated separately for each language, not translated from one language to another. That means each language version is written natively, which results in much more natural and professional content for every audience you serve.

When you run a bulk content generation, the platform creates content for each active language independently.

Tips

  • Start with your primary language and get your content set up before activating additional languages. That way your workflow stays organized.
  • You can enable or disable additional languages at any time. Your primary language always stays active.
  • Adding a new language after your initial setup is easy: just toggle it on, save, and the platform is ready to generate content for that language.
