Accepting quote payments online

Answer

If you have connected Stripe, clients can pay quotes directly online. The pay button appears automatically on the quote viewer when conditions are met.

Steps

  1. Make sure Stripe Connect is linked via Settings > Stripe.
  2. Create a quote and send it to your client.
  3. The client opens the quote via the link and sees a "Pay" button at the bottom.
  4. After clicking, the client is redirected to Stripe Checkout.
  5. After successful payment, the quote status is automatically updated to "Paid" and "Accepted".

Tips

  • The pay button is only visible when Stripe is active (charges enabled) and the quote has not been paid yet.
  • For rejected or expired quotes, the pay button is not shown.
  • The payment is registered in your payment overview under Finance > Revenue & Payments.
  • A platform fee is automatically calculated, just like with webshop and course payments.
