Understanding Your Lead Engine Metrics

Last updated March 30, 2026

Answer

At the top of your Lead Engine board, you'll find a metrics strip with three key numbers. These give you an instant snapshot of your pipeline health without having to dig through individual leads.

The Three Core Metrics

1. Tasks Today

This number shows how many open tasks have a deadline of today or earlier. When there are outstanding tasks, this number turns orange, so it catches your eye right away.

This is useful because you can see at a glance whether anything needs your attention before the day is over. Click through to review and complete those tasks so nothing slips through the cracks.

2. Pipeline Value

This is the total combined value of all your active leads. Leads in won or lost stages are excluded, so you always see the realistic value of what is still in play.

You can add a value to any lead by opening its detail panel and filling in the value field. If a quote is linked to the lead, that amount is counted automatically.

This metric helps you understand the revenue potential sitting in your pipeline right now.

3. Leads This Month

This shows how many new leads have entered your pipeline during the current calendar month. It is a simple way to track whether your lead flow is growing, steady, or needs a boost.

Tips

  • Make it a habit to check the metrics strip at the start of each day. An orange Tasks Today number is your signal to take action first.
  • Keep lead values up to date for an accurate Pipeline Value. Even a rough estimate is better than leaving it blank.
  • Compare your Leads This Month number week over week to spot trends in your inbound flow early.
