Writing and sending an email

With the email composer you can write professional emails and send them to one or more lists from your contacts. You can send them right away or schedule them for later.

Composing an email

  1. Go to Email > Emails and click New Email, or open an existing draft.
  2. Recipients: Choose a list and optionally filter by tags. You can see immediately how many recipients there are.
  3. Subject: Type your subject line. Use the variables button to insert personal tokens like {{firstname}} or {{company}}.
  4. Content: Write your email in the rich text editor. You can format text, add links, and insert images.

Testing before sending

Click Send Test to send the email to your own email address first. This way you can check how everything looks before sending it to your entire list.

Sending or scheduling

  • Send immediately: Click Send.
  • Schedule: Choose "Schedule", set your preferred date and time, and click Schedule.

Saving a draft

Click Save Draft to continue working on your email later. You will find your drafts in the email overview.

Tips

  • Personalization with {{firstname}} makes your emails feel more personal and increases open rates.
  • Always send a test to yourself first, especially if you have added images or links.
