How to configure your Visitor Agent
- Go to Chatbot in your dashboard.
- Open the Config tab to set up your chatbot: name, tone of voice, mode (support or sales), and whether it is active.
- Check the Conversations tab to review what visitors are asking and how the chatbot responds.
- Use the Escalations tab to see conversations that needed extra attention or were flagged.
- If you are running in sales mode, the Leads tab shows every visitor the chatbot has qualified.
- Visit Analytics to track performance over time and spot opportunities to improve.
Tips
- Keep your knowledge base up to date. The better your content, the more accurate and helpful the chatbot will be.
- Start in support mode to get familiar with the conversations, then switch to sales mode when you are ready to capture leads.
- Check the Escalations tab regularly, it is a great signal for questions your knowledge base does not yet cover.
- The stats bar at the top of the Chatbot page gives you a quick health check at a glance.
