Answer
Connections let you link your account to external platforms so content can be published automatically. Whether you want to post to WordPress, send email campaigns via Mailchimp, or schedule social media posts through Buffer, you set it all up in one place: Settings > Connections.
Available connections
You can connect the following platforms:
- WordPress: publish blog posts via REST API
- Ghost: publish posts via the Admin API
- Mailchimp: send marketing email campaigns
- Brevo: send email campaigns
- Buffer: schedule social posts to LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
- YouTube: upload videos directly (login via Google)
- X (Twitter): post tweets (login via X)
How to add a credential-based connection (WordPress, Ghost, Mailchimp, Brevo, Buffer)
- Go to Settings > Connections.
- Find the platform you want to connect and click Connect.
- A dialog opens asking for your credentials, such as your site URL, API key, or application password.
- Fill in the required fields.
- Optionally give this connection a display name so you can recognize it easily.
- Click Save. The platform tests the connection immediately and shows a status badge when successful.
How to add an OAuth connection (YouTube, X)
For YouTube and X, you log in directly through the platform instead of entering credentials manually.
- Go to Settings > Connections.
- Click Connect next to YouTube or X.
- You are redirected to the platform's login page.
- Approve the connection and you are brought back automatically.
- A confirmation message confirms the connection was successful.
Managing your connections
Every connection shows a status badge so you can see at a glance whether it is active or has an issue. If you want to remove a connection, click the delete icon next to it and confirm. You can reconnect at any time.
Tips
- Give each connection a clear display name, especially if you connect the same platform more than once (for example, two different WordPress sites).
- If a connection shows an error status, try removing it and reconnecting. Credentials like API keys may have expired or been regenerated on the platform side.
- Buffer handles social scheduling for multiple networks, so one Buffer connection covers LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok all at once.
