Setting up Stripe payments and Connect

Answer

Payments in the webshop are processed via Stripe. You connect your own Stripe account via Stripe Connect, so that payments go directly to your account.

Steps

  1. Go to Settings > Financial to start the Stripe connection.
  2. Click "Connect Stripe account". You will be redirected to Stripe to verify your account.
  3. Fill in your business details at Stripe (name, address, bank account). This is a one-time step.
  4. After verification you are redirected back to the dashboard. The status changes to "Connected".
  5. Your webshop now automatically accepts payments via credit card, bank transfer and other methods based on your customer's location.

Tips

  • Stripe automatically determines which payment methods are available for your customer based on their location.
  • You can access your Stripe dashboard via Settings > Financial for an overview of transactions and payouts.
  • If you have issues with the connection: check that your Stripe account is fully verified (including bank account).
