How to create a Funnel: guide visitors from quiz to trust

Last updated June 23, 2026

Answer

A Funnel is a value-first diagnostic flow that guides visitors through a short quiz and then offers each person a personalized trust path. Instead of pitching right away, you give something useful first: curated content, a download, or a follow-up email series. By the time someone reaches out, they already know you and trust your expertise.

You can find Funnels in your Dashboard under Funnels.

Note on terminology: In the main Funnel screen, personalized outcomes are called "trust paths." In the item picker and voice notes library, the same paths are referred to as "archetypes." These are the same thing under two different labels.

Step 1: Describe your concept

  1. Click New Funnel.
  2. Describe what the quiz is about and who you want to serve. The more specific you are here, the better the generated content will match your audience.
  3. Click Generate. The system creates a landing page, five quiz questions, and three to five trust paths tailored to your input.

Step 2: Review your trust paths

Each trust path represents a different visitor profile based on their quiz answers. For each path:

  1. Read the diagnosis text, the personal message a visitor sees after completing the quiz.
  2. Check the path ending and choose what happens next:

- Trust Pack: a curated mix of your best existing content (podcast episodes, blog posts, or other resources), auto-selected per path - Calendly link: invite the visitor to book a conversation - Free download: offer a relevant resource - Email list signup: add them to a specific list - Redirect: send them to another page or tool

Step 3: Fine-tune your Trust Pack

If a path ends in a Trust Pack, the system automatically fills it with your most relevant content based on the quiz answers. You can:

  • Swap any item for a different piece of content
  • Remove items that do not fit
  • Add items manually
  • Reorder items using the up and down arrows next to each item. The order updates immediately, so what you see is exactly what your visitor will see.

Adding a voice note to a Trust Pack

You can enrich any Trust Pack with a voice note from your library. When adding an item, open the item picker and select the Voice memo filter chip (or leave it on All to browse everything at once). Voice notes appear as a separate block below a dividing line. Each one shows the internal name, duration in minutes, and any archetype badges. Select the voice note you want and click Add.

Adding or replacing a voice note will never trigger the stale-email warning. The follow-up email series is built around your written content, so voice notes sit alongside it without affecting the email logic.

For more on recording and managing voice notes, see the dedicated voice notes article.

Step 4: Edit the follow-up email series

Every trust path includes a series of five follow-up emails sent over several weeks. Each email is already written to match that specific path. To adjust any email:

  1. Open the path and go to the Mails section.
  2. Click any email to expand it and edit the text directly in the inline editor.
  3. Use the link and CTA button options to add relevant calls to action inside that individual email.
  4. Save your changes.

Regenerating the email series

If the email series is out of date relative to your current content, a warning will appear on the path. You can then:

  • Click Regenerate series to rewrite all five emails at once for that path.
  • Or expand an individual email and regenerate just that one email on its own.

This warning only appears when written content items (blog posts, podcasts, or videos) have been added more recently than the email series was last generated. Adding or swapping voice notes never triggers this warning.

Step 5: Promote your Funnel

Under Promotie (Promotion) you find ready-made assets for each path:

  • A QR code for offline use
  • Social images sized for LinkedIn, Instagram, and X
  • Share links for LinkedIn, Instagram, X, and email

Pick the assets that match where your audience hangs out and start sharing.

Step 6: Check your Sessions

Under Sessies (Sessions) you see, per path:

  • How many visitors started the quiz
  • How many completed it
  • Which path they received

Use this to spot which paths are converting well and which ones could use a stronger ending or follow-up series.

Multi-language support

If your platform is set up for multiple languages (Dutch, English, and German), each Funnel automatically generates a separate version of the landing page, quiz, diagnosis texts, and email series per language. Visitors see the version that matches their language setting.

Tips

  • Keep your concept description focused on one specific problem. A quiz that speaks to everyone often resonates with no one.
  • Review the diagnosis texts carefully. This is the first personal message a visitor receives, so it sets the tone for the entire relationship.
  • Start with the Calendly ending for your highest-intent path. Visitors who reach that path are already warm, so make it easy for them to book a call.
  • Use the reorder arrows in your Trust Pack to put the strongest or most relevant item first. Visitors are most likely to engage with what they see at the top.
  • Add a voice note to a Trust Pack when you want to give a path a more personal, human feel without disrupting the email series.
  • Check Sessions after the first two weeks and use the regenerate option for paths with low engagement in the email series.
  • Use the QR code at live events or on printed materials to drive traffic straight into your Funnel.
