Set visual keywords to shape your podcast teaser imagery

Last updated June 21, 2026

Answer

Visual keywords tell the AI exactly what kind of imagery to use in your podcast teasers and video clips. Think of them as instructions to a camera operator: what should appear on screen? With up to 15 well-chosen keywords, you create a consistent visual world that feels uniquely yours.

Where to find visual keywords

Go to Settings → Podcast → Teaser settings in your dashboard. You will find a text field where you can enter your keywords directly.

What makes a good keyword

Keywords need to be concrete and photographable. Great examples include:

  • Places and environments: podcast studio, coffee bar, city street in daylight, Amsterdam
  • Objects and props: whiteboard, bookshelf, microphone
  • Activities: sailing, running, cycling

Avoid abstract concepts like "authenticity", "growth", or "leadership". A camera cannot point at those, and the AI will fall back on generic stock imagery that does not represent you.

Adding keywords yourself or using AI suggestions

  1. Open Settings → Podcast → Teaser settings.
  2. Type your keywords directly into the text field, or click Suggest keywords.
  3. When you use Suggest keywords, the AI analyzes your podcast transcripts, uploads, and profile to generate concrete candidates.
  4. The suggestions appear as clickable chips. Click any chip to add it to your keyword list.
  5. The AI never adds anything automatically. You stay in full control of what enters your visual world.
  6. Save your settings when you are happy with the selection.

How changes take effect

Updated keywords apply to the next teaser or clip that gets rendered. Previously rendered content stays exactly as it is. If you want an existing teaser or clip to reflect your new keywords, open the relevant content page and request a new render from there.

Tips

  • Aim for 10 to 15 keywords for the best results. Fewer keywords limit visual variety, while too many dilute the recognizable look you are building.
  • Mix different types: combine a location, a couple of objects, and one or two activities for a rich and varied visual palette.
  • Review your keywords after your first few renders and fine-tune based on what you see. Small adjustments can make a big difference.
