Answer
Your podcast automatically gets an RSS feed that you can submit to Spotify, Apple Podcasts and other podcast platforms.
Steps
- Go to Content Engine > Podcast and open the podcast settings.
- Copy your RSS feed URL. You can find this in your podcast settings.
- Go to Spotify for Podcasters (podcasters.spotify.com) and submit your RSS feed.
- Go to Apple Podcasts Connect (podcastsconnect.apple.com) and submit your feed.
- Wait for approval. Spotify usually approves within 24 hours, Apple Podcasts can take up to 5 business days.
Switching from Spotify (Anchor)
Already hosting your podcast directly on Spotify via Anchor (now Spotify for Podcasters)? You can switch so that your own RSS feed becomes the source. Your existing episodes and subscribers are preserved.
How it works
- Make sure all your existing episodes are in your dashboard (via Content Engine > Podcast > Import from RSS).
- Verify your RSS feed is complete: open the feed URL in your browser and check that all episodes are included.
- Go to podcasters.spotify.com (in your browser, not the app).
- Open Settings and scroll down to Redirect your podcast.
- Paste your own RSS feed URL and click Redirect.
- Spotify, Apple Podcasts and other platforms will follow the redirect automatically. This may take a few days.
Important
- Keep the redirect active for at least 45 days so all platforms have time to update.
- Your listeners won't notice a thing: their subscriptions keep working.
- New episodes you publish from your dashboard will automatically appear everywhere.
Tips
- Make sure your podcast has at least 1 published episode before submitting the feed.
- Your podcast artwork must be at least 1400x1400 pixels and maximum 3000x3000 pixels (JPEG or PNG).
- After approval new episodes automatically appear on all platforms via your RSS feed.
